It's hard to compare , as Sky has so much more TV content including much more HD , Sky has skygo with full access on 2 devices, the 40Mb broadband is unlimited with a 10Mb upload also unlimited.
Where as virgins 50mb only has a 5Mb upload and it has STM limits. You pay for what ya get as they say. But Sky is about to become even better so keep an eye out

If you drop sports and movies on virgin there is no need for you to pay the HD charge for the few channels they have.
