this proves quite nicely that VM love to talk out of their ass. Your current can handle 100mbit no problemo but they love to lie to everyone and tell them it can't so they can fob you off with a shub which doesnt work.

You are doing yourself a huge favour keeping your current modem and yes, it will not trigger a new contract renewal.

They need to change their marketing blab to "we want £20 off you so we can give you a sub-standard router with "beatable" wireless performance and to top it off, we are going to tie you into another 12 month contract"
