there in lies your problem dude, downstream power is way too high. You can try ringing tech support and getting an engineer to come out and fix it but if I was you I would do it yourself and then write a letter to the CEOs office moaning your ass off over the appalling support you have had, you have been lied to, the fault was incorrectly diagnosed and you fixed it yourself.
