They have logged a call with networks to balance the load and move me onto a different channel but the ceo's office aren't being too responsive or helpful (almost 3 weeks since originally contacting them).
Area is due to be sorted out by September apparently for network issues.
So am I entitled to any money back under ofcom or the like for not receiving the service I am paying for or should I just give up and go down to 30meg?

As always dude you have been told a load of twoddle. The only peeps using 1 channel are those on 10mbit or 20mbit. Anyone above that (30mbit+) is on docsis 3 and will be using the maximum number of channels available/allowed in your area. As an example, if there are 6 channels available in your area everyone using the shub (regardless of tier) will be load balancing across all 6 channels. Anyone using the vmng300 will be load balancing across whatever 4 channels it locks on to. The vmng 300 can only use 4 downstream channels atm but don't let this encourage you to move over to the shub because that is what VM want. If you cant get more than 30mbit from 4 channels you arent going to get much more from the shub.
You won't get 10mbit up until all the upstream upgrade work has been completed. Can you post your power levels. You want the stuff out of the downstream tab and upstream tab.
