Re: BBC Olympic Channels Now Showing..

I'm sure they said recently that, where available, they would be using HD video for the app, but I've yet to see any evidence of that, including during their Wimbledon coverage and Formula One. Whilst on that subject, I was particularly irritated yesterday to find that, despite launching 24 dedicated Olympic HD channels and having numerous streams online and behind the red button, they couldn't find a spare hour on either BBC one HD or the BBC HD channel to show their Grand Prix qualifying highlights. Good job I have a wishlist and not a series link!

That said, I think that after the debacle of the Jubilee the BBC are currently outdoing themselves as far as their Olympic coverage is concerned. 24 HD channels as I said, excellent online coverage, the android/iPhone app is superb and actually I just found myself in the car for the climax of the women's cycling road race and the radio coverage was incredibly good as well - really exciting!
