Unfortunately the underlying condition (AIHA) is there for life so it's just a matter of trying to ensure that the side effects of the treatments aren't more damaging that the damage caused by the sneaky ways my Immune System finds to attack me. Hence my fear when it seems that I may have to have massive doses of Steroids to dampen down my Immune System when it decides wake up and go on the rampage. |
