I just turned off modem unplugged the old, router connected the new, powered up, using my tableted I typed in the routers IP and entered the username & password and set-up a new password, then I just entered the SSIDs and passwords for both 2.5 & 5GHz wifi and I was away.
It even boosts the signal to a connected device that is using it.

That's the router I have - if your willing to stretch it beats the hell out of the similarly priced E4200, the realistic range improvement versus said router was around 10-15 metres extra after going through walls etcetera.
