I have a sat box ( bush unfortunately) that requires two inputs to carry out a timer record. The builder of my house cemented the co ax in and we cannot run a separate feed.
Two questions
could I use the lnb shown on this thread and then this

I am not technically minded but have read one output is minus one is positive.

or could I use the splitter to fool the recorder by connecting it to receiver one and two I do not mind that I couldnt record one and watch another just to use the timer record.

Thankyou
Simple answer is you won;t get full functionality without a twin LNB. The polarization needs to be independent of each other or you won't be able to watch H channels whilst recording V channels and Visa-Versa. You need a twin (or more) LNB
