Vow is set to have her sights lowered when she returns from a mid-season break.

The William Haggas-trained filly finished fourth in the Epsom Oaks before making a swift return in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot, where she was a well-beaten sixth.

Connections have given her a holiday before a likely return in Group Three company, after which she will be geared towards a crack at the Qipco British Champions Fillies' And Mares' Stakes, formerly known as the Pride Stakes, on October 20.

Secret Witness is set for a return to York for his next run after finishing fourth in a Group Three sprint at the Curragh on his last start.

Ron Harris's durable sprinter has a good record on the Knavesmire and ran there on consecutive days in May, winning and then finishing second under a penalty to stable companion Judge'n Jury.

His latest outing came on desperate ground in Ireland and he was far from disgraced behind Definightly, with Judge'n Jury this time occupying second spot as the stablemates clashed again.
