Mahmood Al Zarooni's Falls Of Lora is a very smart filly on her day and a terrific ride from Frankie Dettori saw her open her British account for the season in the Coral Distaff at Sandown.

The daughter of Street Cry (14-1) had not performed up to scratch on her reappearance at Royal Ascot and had to carry a penalty in this competitive Listed race.

She came with a convincing challenge up the far rail but had to really stick her neck out in a three-way finish to hold Ladys First and Bana Wu by a head and a short head.
