The shub is a router as well and what you did was have two routers on your lan. You dont want to be using the shub as a router anyway so do as above and bang it into modem mode which means port 1 is the only port active. Connect you router to port 1 and then I would suggest connecting your wireless ap's to the router directly and only your switch, and connect the NAS and pcs to the switch so any transfers/streaming from the nas by the pcs doesnt hit the router.
