They won't. They already accept the people living on the islands want to remain British, they just don't accept they have any say in the matter. This is just to send a message to Argentina, and the world, that the islands will remain British and will make it easier to argue that the UN's policy of right of self-determination should be respected if it's ever brought to the UN.

Well like it or not the people of the Falklands have lived there for sometime, before Argentina ever exsisted.
What they have to realise that if they want those Islands, then they need to chance the way they deal with it
