Yeah finally. Had a very helpful young fella from virgin media come over.
He adjusted my upstream which was a bit high. Router works fine but my speeds are ok, not amazing. Maybe I'm expecting too much. Speedtest.net gives me 20 on the down but that's not a definitive guide. Torrents are on average 1-2 mbps which is ok. I wanted 5 plus but maybe I'm greedy.
Also I'm scared to turn off the hub and router now in case it stops working. Are you meant to keep them on all the time anyway?

FYI mate, Im not in modem mode. He said that modem mode doesnt work for everyones router. Whether he is wrong or right is a different matter, Im just glad I have working internet!

Lol stupid dumbass me was doing this on wireless. Just wired in my laptop to my router and guess what, I went up to 75 mpbs.
