if you think the shub is going to improve things for you you are gravely mistaken. You need to get yourself a proper wireless router if you are going to use it properly. You can get yourself a cheapo 2nd hand one off ebay for £10 or a nice shiny brand new linksys one
It would be over kill either way though because you only need wireless. You could look at getting yourself some homeplugs instead which you could distribute throughout the house.
