I have the cables as post 12, but still no joy.

I have also tried the Toslink in both places as suggested in 7 and 12

Oh dear I can see the initial confusion now, as my first post is wrong!!

The V+ is connected to the TV and not the BluRay as stated

Sincere apologies, but it is still not working
