i didnt see the seller replaced it. you can still contact Belkin for a replacement.

You have read the bit where he stated that it is a
refurbished device bought from Ebay therefore as they are not the original owner they cannot claim the lifetime guarantee especially when they ask for proof of purchase and they state Ebay.
