That PVR is very likely to make a comeback. One of the owners has set up a new company and it is likely that this STB will return for its second generation.
The way STBs work has changed. There is nothing at all stoping community based STBs from providing these kind of functions. In theory Topfield users could add wishlists via 'Taps' which actually has nothing to do with Topfield themselves. Humax also stated that they would not support community based modifications to their STBs but also would not do anything to stop these modifications either.
