Panorama tonight on BBC One shows how big companies are avoiding tax by using Luxembourg as many will know Virgin Media Entertainment the bit that sells premium tv channels to Virgin Media customer is registered in Luxembourg who is obviously avoiding the 20% VAT rate. But are Virgin Media passing that saving to customers? I don't think so, since it came into use the cost of premium channels has hardly changed.
