It's not for everyone, and I totally understand why you'd be against it.
Personally it's a fight I want to see, not just because of the events in Germany. Haye and Chisora are 2 of Britains top heavyweights, and it should be an exciting fight.
Boxing, like most sports nowadays, is all about the money and less about the sporting achievement. Boxing is the most dangerous sport on the planet. Fighters have short careers, and put their lives on the line every-time they enter the ring for our entertainment. I have no problem with any boxer cashing in when they can.
If people are strongly opposed to Haye Vs. Chisora then do have a choice. They can simply ignore the fight and refuse to either buy tickets to the event or refuse to subscribe to Boxnation.
What happened in Germany was not as bad as the events which took place on the 25th January 1995 when Eric Cantona launched a 'kung-fu' style kick into the crowd, directed at Crystal Palace fan Matthew Simmons, followed by a series of punches. Cantona was banned for 8 months, fined £30,000 but continued to receive full pay from Manchester United. That's a perfect example of a sportsman who should have went to jail, shouldn't have benefited financially and brought the sport into disrepute. Cantona makes Haye and Chisora look like a couple of spoilt brats.
