But as has been mentioned many times, reminders were never part of TiVo and VM and TiVo didn't think people would need them due to the three tuners. Especially as reminders are a legacy feature from before there were PVRs.

Red button has just launched so will of course get more content over time. So it's not really an issue. It used to be no red button on TiVo now it's, boo red button sucks. Some people are never happy.
