Footballer rape trial: Ched Evans cleared, Clayton McDonald cleared

Now I am confused. Both were accused of raping the same woman but one is acquitted and the other is found guilty. 
I cannot find why one was found not guilty.What have I missed about this case?
Or is this just a badly reported court case?
