Perhaps you should ask Apple because they seem to have managed it with the iPhone,the earlier iPhone 2 and 3 were very basic in modern terms but quite complicated to navigate yet the latest iPhone 4 and 4S are far simpler to "get the hang of" probably because they took a (then) premium product and built on it without the need to over complicate,just a thought...........
