Unless you go into manual settings (not necessary on V+) episodes over 10 of the same programme are deleted on my Tivo, however much you have recorded on the hard drive. I fail to see the logic of this default setting.

On the V+ I had loads and loads of daily episodes of Mash and never once was one deleted. On V+ if the hard drive got full, it would by default delete whatever progamme was the oldest recording, though I think there were other settings.

I never had any problem with the display on a V+. The Tivo seems just as slow (sometimes VERY slow). Presumably with development the V+ problem at midnight could be overcome
