Does this Box Nation mean that my sports package will be diluted, and I will effectively have to pay another £10 per month.
If so, do you think this is a foul, and just another way of squeezing the customer.
We will get fed up with being treated like this.

Hi Pete, welcome to the forum.
SKY used to offer between 4 and 5 PPV shows per year at £14.99 each however last year they decided to stop PPV. Frank Warren, who used to have 3 of these shows, took his fighters off SKY and helped launch Boxnation. People who subscribe to SKY are still getting the same amount of shows they did in 2010 and 2011. Boxnation launching hasn't had any effect on what SKY are putting out each month. It just means other promoters who have contracts with SKY are getting more air time, filing the void left by Frank Warren.
Boxnation is a channel for hardcore boxing fans. Since the demise of Setanta Sports in 2009 Boxing fans in the UK experienced somewhat of a drought in terms of international action with SKY only picking up "massive" fights. SKY had a 2 year window to snap up boxing rights and did nothing. They let boxing fans down massively. ESPN too have done far too little to appease boxing fans. Personally I'm delighted to pay £10.00 per month to Boxnation to access the best boxing action on TV. Boxnation is exactly what I've been waiting for since Setanta collapsed.
Who knows maybe Boxnation launching will give SKY the kick up the rear they needed and SKY subscribers will be treated to even more boxing in the near future.
