Eh??? The Federation represent all Constables, Sergeants and Inspectors. There isn't a split based on service.

The government can't cancel leave and rest days. That remains the responsibility of Chief Constables which makes the governments claims that they managed to get more cops on the streets last summer even more laughable.

The Police Service should always be completely separate from government. The last lot managed a lot of damage but the new government are hell bent on destroying it once and for all by parachuting in another layer of managment who will be mostly aligned on political levels.
