Our company have agreed to pay 50% of the levy & WE have to pay the rest or park on the street. About 40% of the workers have agreed to this payment myself included.
NCC has sold off the tram system this levy was put in place for and the money raised now will be used to update the train & bus stations.
I'm pretty peeved at having to pay as my cost's are spiraling out of control to the point where I will be no longer be able to afford to go to work.

The various reports i have seen and read on this suggest that nobody was in favour of this apart from council officials who ignored everyone and railroaded it through
