Started last night on BBC2, another fly on the wall type documentary this time following Army Officer Cadets during their training.
To be honest, I was a little disappointed as it didn't really show that much of what the training skills involved other than the training sargeant inflicting a few pressups for the inevitable misdemeanours. What it did show is that many of the candidates had a deluded sense of self worth and were not prepared for a more regimented lifestyle, and that unfortunately many would not be capable of punching their way out of a paper bag, let alone lead others into danger.
