Trained by Chris Wall for Bernard Westley, Premio Loco was given a fine ride by George Baker to defeat Cai Shen and Circumvent.
Baker had the eight-year-old, conceding weight to his 12 rivals, handy from an early stage and the pair were not for catching, rewarding punters who had backed them at 5-1.
