TOP OFFER and Most Improved were on Friday cut for the Qipco 2,000 Guineas as the odds compilers digested the news that leading fancy Harbour Watch is unlikely to line-up at Newmarket on May 5.

DAVID PIPE revealed on Friday that there may have been a physical explanation for Grands Crus's disappointing effort in the RSA Chase last week.

The 6-5 favourite, who was previously unbeaten over fences and had come under serious consideration for the Gold Cup, was beaten 18 lengths into fourth place behind Bobs Worth at Cheltenham.
