THE Philip Hobbs-trained Balthazar King (11-2) snapped Ireland's seven-year domination of the Cheltenham Festival cross country race.
But it was a close call, as he gamely held the spirited challenge of A New Story (20-1) who won the corresponding race two years ago. Third was Wedger Pardy (33-1) who forced much of the pace.
