Alan, you are by your own admission fairly wealthy. Maybe paying an extra £100 to fly somewhere doesn’t bother you but, for the majority less fortunate than yourself, that could mean the difference between flying and not flying.

Which is why I feel that full service airlines should buy low-cost airlines so they do not have to compete with low cost airlines hence reduce standards
