THIRD INTENTION hardly came out of second gear as he registered an impressive success under Joe Tizzard, who was riding for his father Colin.
The five-year-old, who was beaten 14 lengths by Zarkandar in the Betfair Hurdle last time out, took up the running with two to jump and eased clear of Topolski, who just snatched second ahead of Duc De Regniere.

A tip in itself here for the Champion Hurdle as the best is yet to come from Zarkandar.
