Despite it's perceived nature I would guess that the Sun, Times etc would ask the same levels of qualifications as any other newspaper or media outlet.

An NVQ in baggage handling is not sufficient.
I thought all the skills you needed is to be good at writing rubbish and knowing how to hack into phones and computers!
