I don't agree with it completely, I think it would be too damaging. However the parallels to 2007 are interesting. Henry leaving saw the emergence of Fabregas from promising talent to one of the best players in Europe. We have a few very promising young players ready to make the step up, Wilshere, Chamberlain, Ramsey, Gibbs...
Yes Wilshere and Chamberlain are players l believe are good enough to make the step up but l have to say that Ramsey does not convince at all and Gibbs defensively looks all at sea and on RVP l think Arsenal must hold on to him as in my mind as letting him go would be a very bad move in my opinion and would also send out a poor message about Arsenal ambitions for the future.
