So I phoned retentions the other day to ask what my price rise would be and as expected £3.50. The conversation went along the following lines:

"Fair enough, but a bit off when you agree a deal and start a new 12 month contract on the back of it." He replied "You've got a point, so as you've six months left I'll credit £21 to your account to cancel it out"

Very good of him as I'll only have four months of my contract left when the price rises happen
