Re: CBS Drama will it be shown on Virgin Media

Broadcasters are under estimating the benefits of Virgin Media's TV platform, just under 4 million TV customers short of viewing there channels and that means lost advertising revenue. Broadcasters also have the ability to supply Virgin Media with TV on demand content.

With the loss of the Sky basic channels, Sky knew it had to do something as it was losing money, a USP lost them money. It is the same with Sky Anytime, the more features and content from Sky Virgin TV has, the more people that will be interested in taking up Sky's premium channels.

Sky Movies Collection looks more attractive at £19.50 per month rather than nearly £22, the cheaper it gets, the more subscribers it gets and the more money Sky can make.

It's simple, some people don't want Sky and want Virgin TV, that way they still manage to make money from the people who won't or can't join.
