Of course, I do realise that both Virgin and Sky do this for a reason, namely that some channels simply wouldn't sell, so it's not going to happen.

You`ve got it in one. As for channels that won`t sell or don`t sell drop the them,( as Virgin I understand buys them or are they paid to take them these days? ) that`s what happens in all other trades.
