We have now had a Superhub router/modem installed by Virgin instead. The connection works, but still having problems getting to a login/setup page to amend the details. I type
http://192.168.0.1 as per the guidance but it is still coming up with the same Gateway Timeout error I describe above.
Having done the ipconfig command again I get some different settings now as per below:
DHCP Enabled - Yes
IP Address - 192.168.0.x (different to default gateway ending)
Subnet Mask - 255.255.xxx.x
Default Gateway - 192.168.0.x
How do I get to the login/set-up page to amend the network password etc?
Confusingly, when I went to access the Wi Fi using my ipad and it asks for a "password" I actually had to type the "passphrase" field from the back of the superhub, and not the "password" entry.
I'd be grateful for any further thoughts as to how I can get to the logon page to change the password. Thanks.
