I'm not doubting that they'll have the capacity for 80 HD channels in another 2 years. My doubts are cast when it comes to VM closing the deal and successfully negotiate the terms in order for them to be able to carry that many HD channels. At the moment I've got 36 HD channels on my TiVo box but Sky have access to 55.

So even if VM manage to hit their 80 HD channel target I'd be willing to bet that Sky would have also expanded their HD line up to include way more than 80.

Let's face it, if they're unable to release 1 single mobile app on time, what are the chances of them being able to release another 44 HD channels in a timely manner?

That's a good point and VM have really been pushing TiVo this year which only leaves me even more dissapointed that the couldn't keep to the release schedule of the all singing & dancing iPad app!
