Re: Anyone have experience of Vodafone Sure Signal ?

I use one, as were I live I can't get a decent signal so most most calls dropped out. As part of a new contract with voda I received a new phone, but the signal on it was dire, so I called them and told them it wasn't worth it as I couldn't use it, they then gave me a Sure Signal box free of charge.

The box itself does the job, but you do get the odd time where it doesn't work for a while, but that's minor compared to having no signal. Before I used to get 0-1 bar on the signal (GSM), now I get the full HSDPA signal.

All you do is plug it into the router and a power supply, set it up using your voda's account settings, adding the numbers you want it to work with. The amount of data it needs is not worth mentioning, but if your internet connection goes down then so will the signal box. It does state that you shouldn't have it positioned near a router, but I've not had any interference with/from it as yet.

One more thing, I think you have to be on Voda's network only to use it.
