Calm down everyone.
It's just been announced that the outage is due to an electrician checking some
building wiring in an apartment block in the South of England and accidentally uncovering the HQ of the national modem cloning network.
Police and tactical firearms experts along with two qualified technicians (not necessarily VM technicians) are attending the scene and normal service shall be resuming shortly.
