Thanks for pointing that out, I only started researching routers with gigabit interfaces yesterday. The 750GL is a better SOHO alternative to the 450G I suggested.
I'm looking for something to replace a PC Engines WRAP running m0n0wall. This is ok for 40Mb/s but would struggle when VM do their speed doubling thing. I have relented and am having a 30Mb/s XL connection installed on Thursday; our ADSL2+ connection is only good for 3Mb/s.
