Actually in saying that, I've seen VM blow money on projects that were poorly designed in the first place in a pathetic attempt at "saving" money.
This immediately makes me think of Harmony, custom built at phenomenal cost, hideously complicated, and replaced by Telewest's off the shelf ICOMS.
