I am sure a consolidation of tiers will happen and 20mb will be the base tier.

100Mbit customers go to 120Mbit and will also be getting a price reduction

Or, offered a deal to go higher still...

In effect merging the two tiers together.

I only ask because there was talk of the 100meg dropping to the same price as the 50meg when the 50meg went to 100meg, but if 100 is going to 120 and getting a price decrease as well, then I'm just wondering what the costs will be. 100 to 120 isn't a big leap really.

100 is the platinum tier. VM are just nudging it to 120mb to stop a few complaints to the call centres from the highest paying customers wondering why their speed isn't being doubled too. Of course there will eventually be a higher speed and when 200mb and higher is released, those wealthy young rednecks on 120mb will want to upgrade to the fastest and pay the premium price for it. Lucky gits. I remember when I used to have money to burn!
