I didn't say everyone should get a free SH, I don't think I've ever said that. Neither did I say everyone should get a standard Hub. I have however said many times that everyone needs to get onto docsis3.. the SH which I stand by.
30£ for a SH with upcoming free doubling is a bargain wouldn't you agree?

some old modems > thats a fact, there are land fill destined modems on the network or recycle/proper disposal for the tree huggers.
