We both know it does not technically require a Superhub, that the VMNG300 is capable of handling 100mb speeds, and some users have managed to wrangle their way into doing so outside of normal channels.

Does this mean, then, that the "free" upgrade will be refused to VMNG300 users on 50mb?

Which hasn't changed what the VMNG300 is capable of, nor has VM sent out Superhubs to all existing customers with VMNG300 on 100mb.
