Yes I have changed my view on it after the game. Two footed and, crucially, he wasn't in control and just threw himself into the tackle and that is very dangerous play. It didn't look bad because Nani jumped and he won the ball. However it also could have been a Shawcross on Ramsey moment.
Players have a duty to avoid injury to other players on the pitch. When you throw yourself at a player, moving at speed, you can no longer control what happens and you are effectively gambling with the chances of them picking up a serious injury. When Shawcross went into Ramsey he just lunged at the ball but this time the gamble didn't pay off and Ramsey lost a year of his career. All because of a reckless, ill-timed, tackle.
Finally it's simply poor tackling. Contain, wait, and time it to perfection with one leg and a clean dispossession.
