Yes but I think there are two different definitions here. There are black people who live a privileged lifestyle clearly. However I read it as meaning to refer to a group of people in general, a group in society....
Maybe it's easier to leave the word privilege out of it and instead talk about how race can affect your opportunities in society and the likelihood of reaching the top of a profession. It's certainly a more interesting discussion than if there are black people who have a decent lifestyle.
