In other words they'll do what TiVo is already capable of AND has been in this country for over a year now, but have fewer linear channels and no wishlists and suggestions. TiVo is already streets ahead of things that haven't even been launched yet.

BT Vision is a connected product as is Sky+HD granted you need an Internet connection but both provide a decent service. I'm not sure how much of a seller apps on pay TV is , certainly some apps add to the experience however they are mainly video content in my opinion and are becoming widely available on a multitude of devices such as connected TVs , connected Blu Ray , PS3 , XBOX 360 , Wii , Roku , Apple TV subscription free. Apps such as Twitter , Facebook seem pointless on TV when they take over the full screen.
