Thanks for your response.

I will try again and turn everything off, then connect the wires up, then turn on modem, then router, then PC.

I then need to type into a browser http://192.xxxx as per 'gateway IP' computer. Is that the same as the IP Address line that I get from the ipconfig command in cmd? This should lead me to the login page I need?
